Model Context Protocol
MCP Server Development for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
We build custom MCP servers that let your team look up and update your business systems from Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, instead of copying data into a chat window. You decide which tools exist, who can use them and what gets logged.

What Our MCP Server Development Includes
One server for one business system, with the tools your team needs and the controls your security team expects.
Remote MCP Server
A hosted server over Streamable HTTP that connects to your system through its database or its REST or GraphQL API.
Custom Read and Write Tools
Searches, look-ups and summaries, plus create and update actions that ask the person to confirm before they run. We don't build delete tools.
OAuth Sign-In for Every User
People sign in with their work account through your identity provider, so every tool call runs as a named person, never as a shared key.
Role-Based Access
Roles decide which tools and which records each person can use, so the AI sees only what that person may see.
Audit Log of Every Call
A record of who called which tool and what came back, kept for your security team to review.
Automated Tests Before Every Release
A test suite checks every tool's results before each release, and each AI client gets a short how-to guide for your users.
How MCP Works
Connect Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot to Your Systems
Without MCP, people copy data from a business system into an AI chat and paste the answer back. With an MCP server, the assistant calls your system directly, under the person's own sign-in, and shows the result in the conversation.
Because the Model Context Protocol is an open standard, one server works across Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot Studio and other assistants that support it. You build the connection once instead of a plugin for each assistant. It is one part of our AI development services.
Example MCP Tools
- Look Up a Customer, Order or Record
- Summarize Activity Without Copy and Paste
- Draft Reports From Live Data
- Create or Update Records After Confirming
How We Build Your MCP Server
From the first call to a server your team uses every day, with the tool design agreed before any code is written.
Scope Call
We confirm the system, the tools you need and who should see what, then send a fixed-price proposal.
Tool Design
We write the tool list, inputs, outputs and role rules. You review the design once, then we lock it.
Build and Secure
We build the server, sign-in, roles and audit log in a test environment against your sandbox or test account.
Test in Every AI Client
We connect the server to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot Studio, run the test suite and fix what we find.
Launch and Handover
We deploy to your Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or other cloud account with infrastructure as code, walk your admin through the runbook and hand over the code.
MCP Experience From a Production Build
We built an MCP server for a content management system that editors use from Claude. They find and rewrite pages, fix SEO issues, manage redirects and generate image descriptions without leaving the conversation.
The same server also powers an AI assistant inside the CMS, so editors get the same tools in either place.
What That Build Includes
- Confirmation Before Every Change
- An Audit Log With Undo
- Automated Tests on Every Tool
- Shipped as a Versioned Package
Questions About MCP Servers
What Is an MCP Server?
An MCP server is a small service that gives AI assistants a set of tools, such as “find customer” or “create ticket”, through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCP is an open standard that Anthropic introduced in 2024, and Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and many developer tools now support it. The assistant decides when to call a tool. The server checks who is asking, runs the request in your system and returns the result.
Should We Build a Custom MCP Server or Use an Existing One?
Use an existing one when the vendor of your system offers an MCP server or connector that covers your needs and meets your security rules. Build a custom one for internal systems, your own database or API, or when you need your own roles, confirmation rules and audit log. We tell you which applies on the scope call.
Is an MCP Server Secure?
It is as secure as its design. Ours require sign-in, apply role rules to every tool and record, ask before any create or update, and have no delete tools at all. For an independent security test of an AI app and the tools it calls, see our AI consulting services.
Which AI Tools Work With MCP?
Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot Studio all connect to remote MCP servers, and so do developer tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot, among others. Custom connectors need a plan that allows them, for example ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, a Claude plan with custom connectors, or a Copilot Studio license, which you buy directly.
Which Identity Providers Can We Use?
Okta, Auth0 and other providers that support the OAuth setup Claude and ChatGPT expect work directly. Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace usually need an authorization bridge between them and the AI clients. We check your provider on the scope call and include the bridge in the written scope if you need it.
What Does an MCP Server Cost to Build and Run?
We quote a fixed price after the scope call, based on the system, the number of tools and your sign-in setup. The server adds no AI model costs, because the model runs under your Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot subscriptions. It can run in your own cloud account, or our care plan covers hosting, monitoring, updates when the AI clients change how connectors work and a quarterly review of who can use which tools, month to month with no minimum term.
What's the Difference Between an MCP Server and an AI Agent?
An MCP server gives people's AI assistants controlled access to your systems while they work. An agent runs a workflow on its own and waits for a person to approve before it acts, which is what we build in AI agent development. Many teams use both.
Can You Build an MCP Server for Our Software Product?
Yes. Software companies use one to let customers work with their product from inside Claude or ChatGPT. We build it on your API with OAuth sign-in, so each customer reaches only their own account. Listing it in a public connector directory is a separate step. If your product has no API yet, start with API development.
